Hostal Buen Viaje, located in the city of San Juan de los Remedios, is a beautiful colonial house built in 1867 for a family of the time.

It maintains until today the high props of the wood ceilings, the austerity in the decoration and the natural light. The hostel complements the necessary modern comfort and the familiar atmosphere in a balance of history and contemporaneity. It is located to only 150 meters of the main square (Plaza Isabel II) on Andrés del Río St., at the back of the Church Nuestra Señora del Buen Viaje, one of the two parishes in downtown.

The guests will enjoy a colonial place, furnished rooms to the colonial style, a fresh terrace with comfortable rocking-chairs, an inner garden, and a great courtyard with fruit trees where to enjoy your dinner under the orange and mango trees.

Hostal Buen Viaje rents three ensuite spacious rooms, air conditioned, with comfortable beds and big windows. The bathrooms are upgrade to modern standard. The house is very advisable for those who look for proximity to downtown but simultaneously stillness and spacing of the noise of the traffic, the nightlife of the square, and the passers-by.

The hosts, Naty and Lester, are simply outstanding and accommodating, their hospitality is warm and genuine, the food amazing.
